The IN-SITU workshops are offered by Atelier LK’ to all learners in order for them to devote particular attention to their personal artistic development, enriched by the benefits of collaboration, a structured and flexible framework: an ideal opportunity for young artists to develop their untaped potential.
Our workshops are designed for students about to begin the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma in visual art, for newly graduated students, and/or for those who are passionate about art and interested in artistic creation in a n extremely stimulating context.
The objective of the workshops is to help students discover their own artistic path while preparing them to meet the requirements of the IB art course. Creative discoveries are guided and supported by specific activities, master classes with guest artists depending on where the school is located.
The artist will work in your school, although Atelier LK’ can also organize the workshops in a place that is deemed more conducive to creation and that meets the needs of learners. Seats are limited to a maximum of 8 participants. Workshop schedules are as follows: 9am – 12pm – 1:30pm – 4:30pm. IN-SITU workshops are offered mainly during school holidays, but Atelier LK’ will study all possible options with your pedagogical team.
These workshops are also offered as part of vocational training to art teachers who wish to boost their teaching methods or their own artistic practice. During these workshops, we will focus on the teacher as being a creative actor, an artist, through a total immersion in artistic creation enriched by the exploration of his or her environment, and how to re-inject this creativity into teaching.
